Meet Jay, The Tone Garage’s Resident Expert
Jay Collison
Owner and Operator
Jay’s passion is electronics, and he excels in making sure his clients’ equipment is running perfectly.
The Tone Garage is a family-owned business run by Jay, specializing in repairing and servicing HARMAN EOS equipment.
Having developed an interest in electronics at a very young age, Jay has always been focused on one project or another for most of his life. This led to him working on the power electronics necessary to run amps and other equipment by the time he was 18 years old. His early work in power electronics soon fed into a deeper fascination with audio electronics.
These days, Jay can look back on over 25 years as an audio electronics engineer. Over the course of his career, he’s seen it all when it comes to audio electronics.
Jay has also received additional certification from the former Crown factory in Elkhart, Indiana. Having worked with BSS, Crown, and JBL equipment for decades, he understands the ins and outs of the equipment better than almost anyone else.
